Lincoln Center Theatre‘s 75th anniversary revival of Clifford Odets‘ classic play Golden Boy officially opens at the Belasco Theatre tonight, December 6 after beginning previews November 8. The show is playing in same theatre where the play premiered in 1937.
Golden Boy stars three-time Emmy winner Tony Shalhoub (“Monk”) and three-time Tony nominee Danny Burstein (The Drowsy Chaperone, South Pacific, Follies), in addition to Seth Numrich (The Merchant of Venice with Al Pacino) and Yvonne Strahovski (“Chuck”) in a huge cast comprised of 19 actors.
