“THE LYONS SUCCEEDS MARVELOUSLY!”
– Scott Brown, New York Magazine

OVERVIEW

The Lyons stars Tony Award-winner Linda Lavin (beloved as Alice Hyatt on the hit TV show “Alice”) as Rita Lyons, the indomitable matriarch of a dysfunctional family at a major crossroads. Her husband is dying, her son is in a dubious relationship, her daughter is barely holding it together. And worst of all, Rita can’t figure out how to redesign her living room! This hilarious new comedy beckons you into a mother’s lion’s den where nothing escapes the pithy wrath of her verbal claws.

VERY FUNNY AND SURPRISINGLY AFFECTING!
– Elizabeth Vincentelli, New York Post
